Port Antonio (purchased 1757 or 1779)
Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the body plan with stern board decoration, inboard profile with figurehead (no waterlines), and basic longitudinal half-breadth for Port Antonio (no date), a 12-gun brig.
The identity of Port Antonio is unknown. There were two, one dated 1757 and the other 1779. The Dimensions Book, 1765-82, page 44, reveals that the dimensions for the 1779 purchased Port Antonio do not match those stated on this plan. However, there is no record of the Port Antonio of 1757 in either the Progress Book or the Dimensions Book, 1660-1764, so no comparison can be made at present.
