Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the upper deck, fore & aft platforms, and quarterdeck and forecastle for Merlin (1744) and Vulture (17440, both two-masted 10-gun sloops. Both are referred to under their original build names of Peregrina (Merlin) and Pembroke Prize (Vulture), and were built using the body plan for Otter (1742).
NMM, Progress Book, volume 2, folio 540, states that 'Peregrina' was launched as the 'Merlin', and that the 'Pembroke Prize' was launched as the 'Vulture'. The plan does not relate to the ex-Spanish ship 'Pembroke Prize' sold 13 March 1744.
