Badger (purchased 1776)
Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the body plan with stern board outline, sheer lines with inboard detail, and longitudinal half-breadth for Badger (purchased 1776), a 12-gun brig, as taken off at Portsmouth dockyard in June 1777. The plan includes a mast and yard dimensions table. This is not Horatio Nelson's first command as his ship, also called Badger as a replacement to this one, never visited Britain to be surveyed or refitted.
Signed by Edward Hunt [Master Shipwright, Portsmouth Dockyard, 1772-1777]
Reverse: Scale 1:48. Plan showing the upper deck and fore & aft platforms for Badger (purchased 1776) and scantling and armament details.
