Taurus (no date)
Scales: 1:48 and 1:24. Plan showing a section at Frame 3, the midship section, half body plan, sheer lines, longitudinal half-breadth and full hull plan for Taurus (no date), a double-hulled (catamaran), double-ended rowing galley mounting a field carriage gun, designed by Captain Sir Sidney Smith. The plan illustrates the cabins for the officers as being amidships on a platform, with an iron rudder at each end (between the hulls) steered with tillers. The shape of the hull suggests that this vessel was designed to be landed as part of amphibious warfare.
