26 ft and 27ft Gunboat (1803)
Scale: 1:24. Plan showing the body plan, sheer lines with inboard detail, and longitudinal half-breadth for a 26ft (modified to 27ft) Gunboat to be built by Contract. The plan states that the six gunboats were fitted with a 12 pounder carronade, as suggested by Captain Edward Pelham Brenton [Commander RN, seniority 29 April 1802; Captain RN, seniority 13 December 1808]. A copy was sent to a number of private yards in 1803, recalled to be altered and resent. Further copies to private yards were dispatched in 1808.
