'Vesuvius' (1776) bomb vesssel

Scale: 1:48. A plan showing the section through the foreside of the after motar bed, and a section through the afterside of the foremost mortar bed for 'Vesuvius' (1776), a bomb vessel, as fitted to the alterations proposed by Colonel Congreve.

The date and place of this plan is based on an annotation on the reverse of ZAZ5778, which stated that a Section Plan was sent with the Sheer from Portsmouth in May 1797.
