Indus (1839)

No Scale. Plan showing a part section, part profile, and part plan of the upper deck for Indus (1839), an 80 gun, Third Rate, two-decker, illustrating the method in which the chain pumps were fitted.

NMM, Progress Book, volume 6, folio 503, states that 'Indus' was fitted at Devenport Dockyard in 1844 as an 'Advance Ship' and was refitted at Devonport Dockyard in 1856-1857. However, there is no mention of such alterations to her prior or post these dates.
