Plan showing an elevation of the lower part of the rudder as modified to prevent the fouling by ropes and hawsers for 74 gun ships, as proposed by Mr Weeks, Assistant Master Shipwright of Chatham Dockyard. Annotation states that this idea originated with Mr Hookey [Assistant Master Shipwright of Woolwich Dockyard, 1814-1821], and not Mr Weeks [Assistant Master Swhipwright, Chatham Dockyard].
