Small fragment of red bunting with associated paper 'A piece of the flag that was taken in the Coronne frigate off Lissa by Capt Whitby of H.M. Ship Cerberus March 13th 1811'. Fragment only remains. Item is accompanied by a label. Part of an 1802-pattern Italian Military flag captured from the Italian frigate 'Corona' at the battle of Lissa in 1811.
