Aorangi (1883)
A whole plate negative. Much of the top part of negative has peeled off but a photographic print is available. A slightly distant starboard very near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Aorangi (1883) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on her fore and main masts and is flying the blue peter. A tug flying the New Zealand Shipping Co house flag is alongside the liner's port side. Tilbury is in the background.
