A 12x10 negative. A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Arawa (1907) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is flying a pilot flag and has wooden cases on her foredeck, one of which may be a horse stall. The tug Commonwealth (1902) is alongside amidships. Tilbury is in the background.
