Athenic (1901)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant starboard broadside view of the passenger/cargo liner Athenic (1902) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is flying a blue peter and a pilot flag. The bow of the paddle tug Cambria (1870) is on the left with the Tilbury Hotel beyond her. Dried out on shore in the right background is the passenger ferry Sir Walter Raleigh (1855).
