A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Athenic (1901) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is flying the blue peter and a pilot flag and has a horse stall abreast number two hatch. A Watkins tug is alongside amidships. Tilbury is in the background.
