A 12x10 negative. A starboard bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the passenger/cargo liner Austral (1881) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has been refitted with tall funnels and the yards on her fore and main masts have been removed. Tilbury Hotel is in the background.
