A 10x8 negative. A port near broadside view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Austral (1881) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has short funnels and yards to her fore and main masts. A lighter is alongside and Tilbury is in the background. This is a slightly unsharp image.
