Austral (1881)
A 12x10 negative of a painting derived from a photographic print showing a starboard broadside view of the passenger/cargo liner Austral (1881) under way in a rough sea. She is depicted with short funnels and yards on her fore and main masts as serving in 1882 to 1883. She has steadying sails set before and abaft her foremast.
