A 12x10 negative. A port very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Avoca (1891) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has two yards on her foremast. The paddle tug Vigilant (1874) is at anchor in the foreground. Tilbury is in the background.
