Ballaarat (1882)
A 12x10 negative. A starboard broadside view of the passenger/cargo liner Ballaarat (1882) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has a brig rig and an awning is rigged abaft the mainmast. She has a slight stern wash indicating that she is using her engine to take the strain off her bow line ready for slipping from the buoy. Tilbury is in the background.
