Ballaarat (1882)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Ballaarat (1882) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has a brig rig and an awning is rigged abaft the mainmast. The paddle tug Robert Bruce (1865) is under way on the left and a 3 masted topsail schooner is bound down on the right. Tilbury is in the background. The emulsion is badly damaged in the top right corner.
