Borneo (1895)
A 12x10 negative. A port broadside view of the passenger/cargo liner Borneo (1895) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is loaded almost to her marks and is flying the blue peter and a pilot flag. The negatives numbers G204, G216 and G287 were taken very close together and as it is slack water on a calm day the spritsail barge in the background has hardly moved. The stern of the lighterage tug Terrier (1883) is on the left. Tilbury is in the background.
