Britannia (1885)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant starboard very near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the cable ship Britannia (1885) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on her foremast and men in a small boat alongside are working on the hull. Tilbury Fort Watergate is in the background. Negatives numbers G2320 and G2327 were taken on the same occasion.
