Calabria (1857)
A whole plate negative. A starboard near broadside view, taken from just abaft the beam, of the cable ship Calabria (1857) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on her foremast and is flying the houseflag of the Telegraph Construction & Maintenance Company. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G1489 and G1570 were taken on the same occasion.
