Caledonia (1894)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port near broadside view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger liner Caledonia (1894) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. Her hull is painted black with a white band and she has khaki upperworks. She has four masts and some awnings have been rigged. She is flying the blue peter and the French flag and a steam launch is alongside amidships. A tug has a line attached to the liner's stern.
