Catalonia (1881)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant port very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Catalonia (1881) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has an auxiliary three masted barque rig with no topgallant masts or yards. A twin funnelled tug is alongside her starboard quarter. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G1514, G1547, G1705 and G2159 were taken on the same occasion.
