A 12x10 negative. A port broadside view of the passenger/cargo liner Cathay (1872) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on her foremast, an awning is rigged aft and she is flying the blue peter and a pilot flag. Tilbury is in the background.
