A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port near broadside view, taken from just abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Cathay (1872) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on her foremast, an awning is rigged aft and she is flying the blue peter. Tilbury is in the background.
