Cato (1849); Rosetta (1880)
A 12x10 negative. A port broadside view of the passenger.cargo liner Rosetta (1880) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is flying the blue peter, has three yards on her foremast and an awning is rigged aft. The passenger ferry/tender and tug Cato (1849), seen from off her port beam, is alongside at the aft accommodation ladder and a two funnelled tug is alongside the starboard side forward. Tilbury is in the background. This is very similar to negative number G174 but the Cato (1849) has turned round.
