Ceylon (1858)

A whole plate negative. On board the passenger cruise ship Ceylon (1858) while moored in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. The photographer is on the port side of the bridge wing looking forward over the forward well deck to the forecastle. The binnacle and the ship's bell are on top of deckhouses on the right. Two men are on the forecastle looking at the camera.
