Ceylon (1894)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the cargo liner Ceylon (1894) under way in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, bound up. Her anchor is not housed and her boats are painted white. Tilbury Hotel and the landing stage are in the background. Two spritsail barges, one laden with hay, are sailing upriver on the right.
