City of York (1904)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port quarter view, taken from fine off the stern, of the passenger/cargo liner City of York (1904) manoeuvring in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, at the entrance to Tilbury Docks. She is flying a pilot flag and a tug is connected to her starboard bow to pull her round. She is lightly laden and her hull paintwork is grubby. Negative number G1022 was taken on the same occasion.
