City of York (1904)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the passenger/cargo liner City of York (1904) manoeuvring in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, at the entrance to Tilbury Docks. She is flying a pilot flag, a tug is connected to her starboard bow to pull her round and a slack line is running out from her stern. She is lightly laden and her hull paintwork is grubby. Negative number G965 was taken on the same occasion.
