Coptic (1881)
A 12x10 negative. A port very near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Coptic (1881) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on her foremast and is flying the blue peter and a pilot flag. Her funnel has been raised and awnings are rigged amidships. The tug Undaunted (1884) is alongside. Tilbury is in the background.
