A 12x10 negative. A starboard bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the passenger/cargo liner Delta (1905) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has awnings rigged over the bridge and is flying the blue peter and a pilot flag. The paddle ferry Earl of Essex (1877), seen from ahead of her port beam, is alongside the stern of the liner. Tilbury is in the background.
