A whole plate negative. A distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the general cargo steam coaster Demetrius (1856) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has a two masted auxiliary rig with two yards on the foremast. An awning is rigged aft. Tilbury is in the background.
