A whole plate negative. A port very near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Doric (1883) just under way in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has yards on her fore and main masts. An unidentified tug is alongside. Tilbury is in the background.
