Doric (1883)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Doric (1883) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has yards on her fore, main and mizzen masts but no canvas on the mizzen yards and she is flying the blue peter at the foremast. A two funnelled tug is alongside her starboard side forward. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G2163, G2173 and G2185 were taken on the same occasion.
