A whole plate negative. A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Duke of Devonshire (1873) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has a four masted schooner rig with two yards on her foremast. Tilbury is in the background.
