Duke of Sutherland (1873)
A whole plate negative. A starboard near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Duke of Sutherland (1873) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has two yards on her foremast. A two funnelled Watkins tug is alongside her port quarter. Tilbury Fort is in the background. Negatives numbers G2023 and G2212 were taken on the same occasion.
