Dunottar Castle (1890)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the passenger/cargo liner Dunottar Castle (1890) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, on her return from a VIP cruise and prior to her departure on her maiden voyage to Cape Town. She is flying a pilot jack and her port anchor is not housed. She has three yards on her foremast. these yards were removed and her funnels heightened at glasgow in 1897. Tilbury is in the background.
