A 12x10 negative. A starboard near broadside view, taken from just abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Orotava (1889) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has tall funnels and four masts and is flying the blue peter. The passenger ferry Thames (1868), seen from off her starboard beam, is alongside aft. The bow of the tug Vigilant (1874) is in the foreground. Tilbury is in the background.
