Expert (1892)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant starboard broadside view of the screw tug Expert (1892) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. Four of her crew are on deck looking at the camera man. Tilbury is in the background. The negative has been broken and discarded but a 10x8 safety film copy has been made from a 12x10 photographic print produced in the 1950s from the original negative before it was damaged.
