A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant starboard broadside view of the passenger/cargo liner Fort Salisbury (1895) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. Her standard compass has been fitted on top of a wooden structure at the rear of the bridge. Tilbury is in the background. The top left corner of the negative is broken off and missing.
