Geelong (1904)

A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Geelong (1904) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has a Blue anchor funnel marking, and is flying the Blue Anchor houseflag and a pilot flag. Number 8 lifeboat is swung out. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G166, G167 and G886 were taken on the same occasion (the marks and paint blemishes on the hull are identical) but the houseflag in G167 and G886 does not appear to be a Blue Anchor on a white field.
