Grecian Monarch (1882)

A whole plate negative. A fair quality slightly distant starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Grecian Monarch (1882) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has four yards on each of her fore and main masts and no yards on her mizzen and jigger masts. She is flying the blue peter and her number one boat is in the water. Tilbury is in the background. The horizon is not quite level. Negatives numbers G1498 and G1511 were taken on the same occasion.
