Grecian Monarch (1882)
A whole plate negative. A fair quality slightly distant starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Grecian Monarch (1882) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has four yards on each of her fore and main masts and no yards on her mizzen and jigger masts. She is flying the U S flag at the foremast. The passenger ferry Sir Walter Raleigh (1855) is alongside amidships and a twin funnelled paddle tug is on the right. Tilbury is in the background.
