Gulf of Venice (1883)
A whole plate negative. A starboard broadside view of the cargo liner Gulf of Venice (1883) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has four yards on her foremast and a small boat is alongside abreast number 3 hold. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G1939 and G2165 were taken on the same occasion.
