Hankow (1873)

A whole plate negative. A starboard very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Hankow (1873) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on each of her fore and main masts and is flying the blue peter from the foremast. The Coast Guard Watch Vessel CGWV 28 (1847) is on the Tilbury shore in the background. Negatives numbers G1508 and G2034 were taken on the same occasion.
