Hawarden Castle (1883)
A 12x10 negative. A fair quality port very near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner hawarden Castle (1883) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. A small passenger steam launch is approaching her accommodation ladder. A tug flying the Castle Mail Packet Co houseflag is alongside the starboard side forward. Tilbury is in the background. The negative is badly marked.
