A distant port near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company passenger vessel Iberia (1954) at anchor off Rhodes harbour. Her port anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged aft. Her numbers 4, 6 and 8 lifeboats have been launched and one of them is heading into Mandraki harbour. The photographer is looking east across Mandraki harbour entrance showing the two deer monuments and Fort St. Nicholas.
