A whole plate negative. A starboard near broadside view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner India (1881) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has two yards on her foremast and an awning is rigged ahead of the bridge. Tilbury is in the background.
